University of Houston Cougar Marching Band Alumni Association The Bands of Yesterday – Today
The Cougar Marching Band Alumni Association is a special interest group of Houston Alumni Association. The alumni of the University of Houston Cougar Band established the Association to advance the interests, and promote the welfare of the University of Houston Cougar Bands, Cougar Brass, Cougar Dolls/Houston Honeys and Color Guard. While the Band Alumni is a part of the HAO, the association does not receive any financial assistance from the HAO. In the past, all activities have been funded through generous gifts from alumni and the Spirit of Houston Cougar Marching Band budget.
Now is your opportunity to help take the Cougar Marching Band Association to the next level through your annual supporting gift. Your gift to the Cougar Band Alumni Association will go directly to the Cougar Band Alumni and will support the financial needs of communication and having events such as the homecoming reunion. Please consider becoming an annual supporter of the Cougar Marching Band Association at either the $100.00 per year level or the $35.00 per year level. Joint contributions are available as well.
100 Yards of Band Sustaining Contribution $100.00 per year ($150.00 per year joint contribution)
First time contributors will receive a Spirit of Houston – 100 Yards of Band Red Polo Shirt as our thanks for your initial gift and each year you will be invited to a special 100 Yards of Band Social along with recognition of your gift in the annual reunion materials.
Cougar Band Alumni Supporting Contribution $35.00 per year ($70.00 per year joint contribution)
First time contributors will receive a Spirit of Houston – Band Alumni White Baseball Cap and annual recognition of your gift in the annual reunion materials.
